Soccer Assist Grant

Purpose: Provide financial support to clubs and organizations offering youth soccer.

About: The Victory Project is committed to connecting all kids to the sport of soccer. The Soccer Assist Grant provides funds to organizations and clubs that provide youth soccer programs in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

Grant applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and may be awarded to the same organization no more than twice in a calendar year.

The Soccer Assist Grant may be used to underwrite club fees, league registration, uniforms, equipment, transportation, tournament fees, and other miscellaneous soccer-related expenses. Sporting City East, Sporting City West, and Sporting City North clubs and athletes are ineligible to receive Soccer Assist Grant Funds.

Funds cannot be used for salaries.

Grant amount: $500 - $2500

Requirements

Organization must offer youth soccer programming.

Organization must be incorporated in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas. Nebraska or Oklahoma.

Provide a state (no longer than 650 words) that describes the following:

  • Amount requested.

  • Description of how funds will be utilized.

  • How the sport of soccer fulfills the organization's mission.

Disqualification

The Victory Project reserves the right to disqualify any individual or club/league that it believes has violated these official rules:

  • Is not eligible to participate and fails to meet the requirements.

  • Has provided false information.

  • Acted in a harassing or unsportsmanlike manner with respect to The Victory Project, its Board, or Committee members.

  • Tampered with the operation of the Scholarship/Grant Program.
